The Jamboree is THIS Sunday, Aug 24th!!!

It is a wonderful opportunity for our organization, but also a lot of work, and we need all the help we can get!!!

Already we can feel and see the community working together to pull this off, and it is a truly wonderful feeling to be a part of something so big!  It is terrific to see our membership taking ownership and responsibility, and giving everything they can!

We have tried to create shifts that start after T-Hawks games, or end just before them, so that it will be convenient to volunteer your time before and/or after your kids' games!

Please use this signup sheet to sign up for as many shifts as you can -- we really need everyone to sign up for at least two!  We have some members who will be there all day, but if you can only work two shifts, then we will take it!

Once you get to the field, seek us out in the Volunteer tent, and we will direct you where to go.

Thanks so much for your help in making this the best Jamboree ever!
Together we will do Northborough and Southborough proud!!!

The Access Code on Signup Genius is "Jamboree".

Our first week of practice
is officially over!

Take a look at our wonderful kids on the
first day of practice this year!!!

Practice is currently ON for tonight.
Practice will go on as planned in the rain,
barring thunder/lightening.

If there is promise of thunder, we will make the decision
to cancel practice no later than 4:30-5:00, and the website
will be updated no later than 5:00.

If there is a possibility of storms,
then for safety's sake parents need to remain close
to the fields in the event practice is called early.

Please see our
Inclement Weather and Practice Cancellation Policy
for more information (coming soon...).

The NSYFCA ONLINE Equipment Swap!!!

Have some equipment that your child can no longer use?
Need some equipment for the upcoming season?

We have created an online document to put you in touch with others
who need the equipment you can't use, or have the equipment you need!!

Please review the instructions located at the top of the document.
When you are done updating the shared document, be sure to
close it so others can add their items, and bookmark it, so you can
check back often for more listings!
Not sure what you need?
View the equipment needed for Cheer or Football.

There are still some flexible, creative Coordinator positions open! We have added job descriptions for the open positions to the new Coordinators Page.
Take a look -- some of them can even be done
in your spare time, on YOUR schedule!

No prior NSYFCA experience is necessary - there is lots
of support from the Board, and other Coordinators.

There are also some seasonal Team positions open!

There are many ways that you can help your child and
their friends have
a successful season.
GETTING INVOLVED makes the football & cheer season more fun for everyone -- the program participants, the parents, and the siblings!

Families get to know each other through volunteer work,
and as a result, parents and siblings attend games and/or
practices with friends instead of strangers!

"There is a great satisfaction when you see the excitement on the girls faces when they get fitted for their uniforms, when you see the excitement on the [kids'] faces when they receive their football equipment and when the rosters get approved and you know the teams are good to go!"
                      -- Terri Valentine, Registrar
