CONCUSSION AWARENESS
USA Football, in partnership with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has recently launched its
most aggressive Concussion Awareness Campaign in history. The campaign is called,
"Put Pride Aside for Player Safety".
Whether you are a coach, player, or parent you need to understand how to keep players safe
in our sport. Please share the link below, which includes access to videos, downloadable materials,
and tell everyone in for your community to Put Pride Aside for Player Safety. While it is impossible
to prevent concussions in sports, we can all do our part to minimize the risk. By clicking the link below,
you’ll find videos titled: What is a Concussion, What are symptoms of a Concussion, What Do you Do
When a Concussion Occurs, Minimizing Concussions. Additionally, there are form tackling video drills
that teach coaches how to teach players to conduct a proper form tackle without involving the head.
